For work

Write it down while the details are still clear.

A5 is a place for the decision, the conversation, the condition of a site, and the form a crew completes the same way each time. The entry keeps the account you wrote then, with the time you submitted it.

Less typing. More documenting.

A phone or tablet can take dictation from its own keyboard. Speak the note into the entry while the details are in front of you, then submit the page. The record is still yours, kept with the time you submitted it.

Work documentation

A work notebook can hold what was said, what was decided, and what was left unfinished. Because the submitted page stays as written, a later reading is the account from that day.

People use it for project logs, incident notes, and the ordinary paperwork of a job. Star the entries you need to return to. Set a reminder on the one that needs a follow-up. Search when the notebook has grown past memory.

Construction records and site conditions

On a job site, the useful record is often a short entry and a photograph from the same visit: weather, a defect, a delivery, a conversation, a safety concern. In A5 those pieces stay with the entry they were attached to. The time on the page is the time you submitted it.

Forms and checklists are there for the documents a crew repeats. A form can be saved, printed, or shared with another A5 member when you choose to send it. A form you receive can be placed into a journal from the Mailroom.

Construction moves quickly, and the smallest details can become important later. A5 helps you preserve observations, photographs, conversations, and completed forms in the order they were recorded, creating an organized history of the work as it happened.

From daily site notes to important project milestones, your records remain part of your library whenever you need to revisit them.

A notebook for the job, separate from everything else

Your work deserves its own space.

Create dedicated notebooks for individual projects, clients, departments, or responsibilities. Keep meeting notes separate from daily logs, organize forms by project, and give every important detail a place of its own.

Want an even clearer separation between your professional and personal life? A5 lets you create entirely separate libraries, each with its own collection of notebooks.

Whether you’re managing one project or juggling several, your records stay organized the way that makes sense to you.
